We generally have limited ourselves to bitches with one primary exception, Ch. Rosmoor Robert of Migadala, ROM. In the over 40 years of active breeding, Ch. Robert and Anson (pictured left) have been the only males we have kept and offered at stud.
This philosophy is due to our goal to remain a small, but successful hobby kennel. We feel a male has to be outstanding to keep, use ourselves and offer at stud. In our years in Shelties, these two males are in our opinion exceptional.
Anson is 15 1/4 inch, bi-factored, non white-factored tri-color. He is OFA excellent, eye, thyroid and vWD clear. He has a beautiful head, eye, and expression with good movement and an energetic, enthusiastic, sweet sheltie temperament.
He was shown sparingly as a puppy, only at Specialties and major pointed shows. His record as a puppy included two Best in Sweepstakes, two runner up in Sweepstakes, a 4 point Specialty Reserve and numerous class wins.
As an adult, he was shown 4 times and accumulated 8 points and both majors, including a Specialty win. He then picked up his remaining singles in a few months to finish at just over two years old. Shown occasionally as a special, he has accumulated 14 Specialty Best of Breeds.
We are impressed by Anson's ability to produce. We are seeing exceptional head detail, eye, expression and temperament in his puppies. He is currently the sire of 6 AKC champions, several agility and obedience titled offspring, including one High in Trial winner. See Anson's offspring.
